Yes, we are a licensed LLC in Washington State. We are insured and bonded with the Business Insurers of the Carolinas.
We are located in West Seattle and we service the greater Seattle area including Bellevue, Mercer Island, Kirkland, Issaquah, and Sammamish.
We offer dog walks for 30, 45, and 60 min. Prices are $40, $50, and $60. See our Services page for more information.
Our initial consultation is an in-home meeting where we get to know you and your pets, learn their routines and care needs, review home access and important instructions, and make sure we're a great fit. The consultation is $60 and is credited toward your first invoice when you book three or more walks or visits.
The Time to Pet app is a user friendly, industry software which allows our clients to quickly request new services, check their scheduled visits, update their pet information, view and send messages to our team, and make payments.
We provide photos, video and daily reports so pet parents have peace of mind when they are away from their fur family.
Yes. We can administer basic medications, excluding injections. We'll review your pet's medication instructions and routine during the initial consultation. Medication administration is $5 per pet, per visit.
If a service is canceled with 24 hour notice we will credit a refund if service is rebooked.

Yes, We have a secure labeling system that does not connect a client's personal information with a key.
We have established emergency procedures that every member of our pet care team follows. We'll collect your veterinarian and emergency contact information before service begins and contact you promptly if a concern arises involving your pet or home.
Rover and Wag are gig-economy marketplaces that connect pet owners with independent contractors, while Reining Cats and Dogs is a local, established Seattle business with a small, vetted team. Every team member is certified and covered by our company's licensing, bonding, and insurance — not by a personal policy a contractor may or may not carry. You'll meet your dedicated sitter at an initial meeting before any visits begin, get photo and video updates with GPS-tracked walks through the Time to Pet app, and have a direct line to Kirsten, the owner, for anything you need.
We care for dogs, cats, birds, and other household pets (excluding spiders). Each pet’s care is personalized around their normal routine, personality, preferences, and individual needs.

Yes. We use Time to Pet for client communication and visit reports, including GPS-tracked dog walks. You’ll also receive updates, photos, and videos so you know how your pet is doing while they’re in our care.
We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for overnight pet sitting, holidays, school breaks, and popular travel periods. Because we keep our team small and prioritize personalized care, availability can fill quickly during busy times.
Yes, subject to availability. Holiday pricing applies on designated holidays, and these dates can fill quickly, so we recommend reserving holiday pet care as early as possible.
